The Santos U19 Girls team has been one of the most successful teams in the history of the Roswell Soccer Club. Many players have been teammates since the Academy days of U9; coaches Mark Lomas and Kevin Connelly took the team through Select from U13 to U19. This tight-knit group of women has experienced many successes throughout their tenure, including: Four-time League Champions Two-time League Finalists USCS National Finalists USCS Regional Champions USYS Georgia State Cup Champions Four players currently playing collegiately at Georgia Southern, MIT, Kennesaw State, and Berry College, with another player committed to play at Berry College in 2024. The memories this team of coaches, players, and families have are innumerable. From lake trips to playing in the hail and snow at Jeff Cup, late night practices at Upper Waller to Covid Zoom calls, competitive games of cat and mouse to ice baths after team camp, eating ice cream in the lobby at 11pm in Baton Rouge to a disco bus in Cincinnati, and moose watching and oxygen tanks in Breckenridge to many memories in West Palm, these moments will last a lifetime. The girls said it best when their time in Cincinnati came to an end: "We wish we had just five more minutes. Thank you for everything, Roswell Santos, for your love and support over the years.
